Tender Beef Liver with Bell Pepper

Ingredients:

500 g beef liver, sliced

milk

2-3 bell peppers, sliced

2 medium onions, sliced

2 garlic cloves, chopped

salt

pepper

1-2 tbsp oil for frying



Method:

Rinse liver under cold water and place in a large bowl. Pour in enough milk to cover. Let soak for 1-2 hours at room tempreture. Then rinse liver and dry with a paper towel.

In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Cook liver slices  on each side until golden. Set aside.

In the same skillet, fry bell peppers until desired softness.

Return liver slices to the skillet. Add salt and pepper. Close the skillet with a lid. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 5 min or until the juices run clear.  Stir often.

Serve hot.
