1 kg beef liver, sliced into strips
1 ½ cup milk or water
2 large onions, thinly sliced
4-6 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp vegetable oil for frying
Soak the liver in milk or water for 1-2 hours.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high. Add 2 tbsp of oil and sauté onion until soft. Set aside.
In a large dish, spread the flour mixed with salt and black pepper. Drain the liver slices from milk and place into flour, turn to coat all sides.
In the same skillet, add some more vegetable oil and fry the liver over medium-high for 3 minutes on each side until golden brown or until the juices run clear.
Return onion to the skillet. Mix all together and finish cooking.
