Grissini, Crusty Snack



 Ingredients:

200 ml warm water

1 tsp sugar

7 g dry yeast

50 ml vegetable oil + for brushing

30 g butter

1 tsp salt

350-400 g A/P flour 

Optional: sesame seeds, dried herbs, sea salt mixture for sprinkling bread, sunflower seeds, chopped thyme, sage, ground peanuts, etc.  for sprinkle.



Method:

Add sugar to the warm (not hot) water. Add yeast. Stir until yeast dessolves.

Add vegetable oil, butter, salt and flour. Knead the dough. Cover it with a clean towel and  let sit for one hour at room temperature.

Devide dough into wallnut-size pieces. Roll each piece into lengths around 1 cm thick. Brush grissini with vegetable oil. Sprinkle with any topping if desire. Let it rise for 10-15 min.

Preheat the ovet to 180ºC

Bake for 10-15 minutes.
