Creamy Scones

230 g A/P flour
2.5 tsp baking powder
3 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp salt
90 gram cold butter
1 large egg
5-6 tbsp cream
Vanilla or vanilla sugar

Chocolate chips/ raisins/nuts/ lemon zest/ cocoa/ dried fruits.

Preheat the oven to 220°C.
Lightly grease a baking sheet.
In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.
Add butter and rub in with your fingers until you get crumbs.

Add egg, cream and vanilla and knead gently until smooth.
Roll dough into 1cm-thick cicle. Transfer the dough circle Cut into triangles pread the dough to a baking tray. Cut into triangles.
Bake until golden brown, about 12-15 minutes.
Serve with butter and jam.
Enjoy hot or cold!
