2-4 tablespoons oil
1 small onion, sliced thin
1 hot pepper
2 teaspoons curry powder
2-4 tablespoons water
1/2 large cabbage, shredded
3 cloves garlic, sliced thin
1 teaspoon salt
1 medium tomato, cubed
Heat some oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and hot pepper. Let it cook for about 3 minutes.
Meanwhile make curry paste. Add 1 tablespoon of water to curry powder and mix well. Repeat until you obtain a thick paste. Mix the paste with onion and hot pepper. Keep frying stirring continuously until the water evaporates and the paste becomes dark and grainy.
Stir in cabbage, garlic and salt. FOTO 2.3
Turn the heat down and cook it for about 20, if you prefer crunchy cabbage, or ad more time. Depending on how soft you’d like it.
Add tomato and taste for a salt.
Cook it another 5 minutes and enjoy!
