Buttermilk Bunnies, called Pryanicks

Butter Milk Bunnies, can be with Jinger or Cinnamon, that is why called Pryanicks in Eastern Europe
Buttermilk Bunnies (Pryanicks)

Ingredients:

eggs, 2

sugar, 150 g.

vanilla sugar, 12 g

buttermilk, 250 ml

baking powder, 2 tbp

A/P flour, 400 – 500 g

Method:

You can add Jinger or Cinnamon, as due to your preference.

Preheat the oven to 180 C.

In a large bowl, sift flour and baking powder.

In a separate bowl, combine eggs, buttermilk and sugars.

Add baking powder mixture gradually until a soft dough forms.

Roll out the dough 1 cm thick. Using a short glass, cut out circles of dough.

Place the Pryaniks 2 cm apart on the lightly greased baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven, 180 C for about 20 min or until the edges are starting to turn lightly golden. DO NOT OVERAKE!

Let them get cool and then enjoy!
